Charitable Donations
The Assistance Program offers financial assistance to the Families of Highway Fatalities for: bereavement seminars, group counseling, monthly support outings, literature on grieving. A small portion of donations is used each year for the operational expenses of the nonprofit, which are very minimal.
Contributions to the program are received through pre-trial intervention programs in which family members speak about their losses to participants, through individual donations and fund-raisers.
The Assistance Program encourages families who have lost someone on the highways to consider donating to the organization in memory of your loved one. Special occasions such as the anniversary of your loved one's death or birthday provide a special way to remember them by helping others heal.
Others interested parties are invited to support this program. There are many ways to get involved. The group depends on the generosity of churches, businesses and restaurants to donate the use of their facilities for our programs, by donating catering and other special services for our workshops and group meetings.
All donations received are tax deductible and will be acknowledged with a follow-up letter from the group.
