FHF Assistance Program, Inc. - Offering hope to families of highway fatalities
About Us

Highway fatalities are the most common cause of accidental death in the nation -- with more than 42,000 people dying each year. Vehicle crashes are the number one killer of teens and young adults.

In South Carolina, an average of 1,000 people die each year on the roadways. These losses have a tremendous impact on communities.

FHF Assistance Program Inc. is the first program of its kind in the nation to support efforts to help these families during this traumatic and painful journey.

The Assistance Program was created in 2007 to support the Families of Highway Fatalities’ group by helping plan and fund monthly bereavement and support activities for families as well as quarterly Hope and Healing seminars and workshops.

The program also helps raise awareness about the impact of a highway fatality on families and friends.

Mission and Vision:

FHF Assistance Program Inc. is dedicated to healing hearts following motor vehicle fatalities. The Assistance Program provides financial resources to the Families of Highway Fatalities for bereavement services; raises awareness of the emotional impact of those affected by the loss; and assists in providing support to those left behind.
